Certified Youth Sports Administrator Certification (CYSA)

This special One-Day Onsite Academy will offer participants both the On-line and On-site Academy to earn the Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA) credential. The Academy for Youth Sports Administrators is a comprehensive certification program that offers cutting-edge information on critical topics for professional youth sports administrators today. The Academy’s primary goal is to provide attendees with a foundation and tools needed to positively impact the youth sports experience for ALL children in their communities. 

Youth Sports Professionals who are interested in earning the CYSA credential will participate in a full day of training on Monday, July 23, 2018. Then CYSA candidates will complete the certification process via the Online Academy. Topics covered include: Youth sports philosophy, Professional development, Mission statements, Policies & procedures, Volunteer management, Child abuse prevention, Parent management, Conflict resolution, Insurance & risk management, Inclusion of children with disabilities, Evaluation & marketing of your program, Emergency planning, Model youth sports program, plus more. 

Once certified, CYSAs are part of an elite group of professionals that understand the core foundations of the administration of sports programs for children and have demonstrated that professional development is essential to the delivery of quality sports programs. 

The CYSA credential allows youth sports administrators to be a part of a professional network, to keep up-to-date with the latest youth sports trends and to position them in a leadership role.  

Participants will experience both the Online and Onsite Academy to earn the Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA) credential.  Click here for more about NAYS
