Did you know the School of Community Resources and Development is preparing Parks and Recreation students for the workforce, and part of their curriculum is completing an internship?

College seniors are currently looking for organizations to fulfill their internship requirements and offer many benefits. This program will discuss expectations, best practices for recruitment and offering a meaningful internship experience.

1) PROVIDE PARTICIPANTS WITH AN OVERVIEW OF THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM WITHIN OUR SCHOOL;

2) EXPLAIN REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH A FORMAL AND INFORMAL INTERNSHIP AND EXPECTATIONS;

3) DISCUSS NEXT STEPS AND TIMELINES ASSOCIATED WITH HOSTING AN INTERN THROUGH THE SCHOOL OF COMMUNITY RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT AT ASU;

Present best practices for hosting an intern and hear a brief presentation from a recent intern.

A link to join the meeting will be sent to your email in the automated email confirming your registration.
